Room was ridiculously small. Claustrophobic. On walking on, one felt immediately oppressed by the lack of space. It wasn't a place to relax, it was oppressive and made one uncomfortable. Prior to entering the hotel I wasn't sure whether I would stay in the area long but the miserable, sad and depressive, confines of the room, had me wishing to head home at the earliest opportunity in the morning. It was not difficult to get up and out of the room by 4.30Am.It was a relief to get out of the room. For the price of 4500 yen it was terrible value for money. The worst hotel room I have ever stayed at in Japan. Not a room but a box to intimidate and oppress the occupant. A terrible way to conclude what had otherwise been a great holiday.

While older, it’s very clean, just some things were awkward. It was difficult to get organized. It could use some hooks or something to help. The mattress was old and had no support. So we rolled together. The toilet was very close to the wall in front, it was just difficult. And it worked out okay, and this was part my problem. My knees were having an issue and I had a difficult time getting in the tub because it was so deep and du knees weren’t bending well. I was worried I’d slip and fall, there were no hand grips. But I was very careful and it worked out. The breakfast had so many choices and was very good. We did appreciate our stay.

Debra

The staff was helpful and friendly. The waitress even brought me a small heater for my feet when I complained about the cold (below 15 degrees Celsius!) breakfast room. The breakfast was good and food was refilled at the buffet until the end of the breakfast time. The hot bath at the second floor was well maintained and bog enough.

No good the reception is still reformed. Staff is not friendly.
